Perception is the second of the seven Specials a character can have a set amount of points in. Perception is important, if you want to your character to see far, have a higher Critical Chance as well as a higher range at hitting distant targets with aimed shots. Perception also helps against being blinded as well as disoriented.
Each point of Perception adds
- +4 Hexes of Sight Range (at day, less at night).
- +2% Base Critical Chance (And thus +2% Aim Critical Chance).
- +5% Critical Perception
In addition, having a high amount of Perception increases the effective range you can use single-shot weapons when aiming at an enemy limb.
