Carry Weight displays the amount of grams a character can carry. It is important to note, that most equipped armor does not count towards this limit, and is ignored for calculating the currently carried weight due to the Strong Back (Armor Trait) Armor trait. In addition to that, the trait adds another +25 maximum Carry Weight to the character wearing that armor.
You can further increase Carry Weight, by equipping Backpacks in the Utility slot.
By default, Carry Weight is calculated with the following formula:
Every Level after 24, will also increase your Carry Weight by 1.
Modifiers | Carry Weight |
---|---|
Strong Back (Armor Trait) | +25 & Weight of Armor |
Backpack (Item Trait) | +25 |
Jellyfish Artifact | +75 |
Every Level after 24 | +1 |
Overweight
Being above your character's carry weight will cause him to be overweight. For as long as you are, you will only be able to walk, instead of run.
If you are above double your character's carry weight, you will lose the ability to move at all and will only be able to stand still, forcing you to drop things to be able to move again.
